Saturday, February 9: Big Bang! Mentorship Mixer - San Ramon

Similar to the "speed dating" event, the mentorship mixer will give contestants the chance to pitch their ideas to invited business community mentors to provide potential mentors the opportunity to work with teams to further develop their plans. Light refreshments will be provided. There are two opportunities for the mixer--one in San Ramon and one in Davis.

This event will give contestants a background on how to effectively pitch a business to a panel of investors. The presentation will include what to include in a pitch, how to frame a business pitch and how to find the right sources of funding.

Big Bang! contestant teams present their first formal pitch to judges for their chance to advance into the Big Bang! semifinals.

Friday, May 3: Finalist Dry Run Presentations

The top teams will be given an opportunity to practice their pitch and receive valuable feedback in a closed door judging session before presenting in the Semi-Finals round.
For those teams participating in the dry run presentation, slides should be submitted by May 1 at 11:00 p.m.
